Uzbek authorities work out measures for development of small, micro hydropower

TASHKENT. Aug 20 (Interfax) - Uzbekistan plans to bring the total capacity of small and compact hydroelectric power plants to 204.8 MW by 2030 and ensure annual generation by these HPPs of 620 million kWh of electricity, the Uzbek Energy Ministry said.
